The first place that we visited after our stay in the hotel was the beautiful, splendid palace, which is Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal Agra is not only a mausoleum but also a significant creativity and architectural knowledge in India. It is a symbol of love between the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and Mughal Empress Mumtaz Mahal his third wife. It is a very complex structure, which is made out of white marbles and is on the plinth and even has four tall and beautiful minarets, which is located at each corner. It even has the tombs of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal. After completing the security check we entered the place we were advised to throw any sorts of garbage or waste materials only in the dustbins. When we had entered the place there was a central pathway which had viewing platforms and fountains. We had also seen the Quranic inscriptions are inscribed on the huge ornamental gateway.

The mausoleum is surrounded by greenery and gardens which adds beauty to the monument. One of the most famous myths about this site was that the architects who had made this wonderful piece of art were blind and that after the completion of the monument their hands were chopped of so that they could never make such a beautiful creation again. The next famous myth was that Shah Jahan wanted to make similar mausoleum out of black marble which would be addressed as Black Taj but he could not be successful in his trial as his son had deposed him.

The main hall is having the artificial tomb of both the emperor and the empress. The minarets are intelligently created. If it ever falls it would not harm the main structure since it would fall away from it. Each one has three balconies. The Charbagh gardens, the minarets, the tomb, the main hall, the dome are the symbol of perfection and excellence in the creation and maintenance of the monument. It also been voted as one of the Seven Wonders of the World and also the cultural heritage of UNESCO World heritage Site. After seeing it in front of I and my friends were all very amazed and we had enjoyed every moment of our visit. After seeing Taj Mahal Agra a creation we decided to move on to see the Jama Masjid in Agra.
